Easter Sunday

Isaac woke up to find a big basket of goodies from the Easter Bunny!!! He was so excited!!!

He loved the eggs more than anything!!!

Here is Isaac and his Daddy, Uncle Nick and cousin JoeJoe. A handsome bunch of guys, don't ya think?

Isaac had to hunt a few eggs on Easter. It was a beautiful resurrection day.

Having a toddler this year made Easter exciting in the sense of hunting eggs and getting a basket and being with other youngsters, but as Isaac grows up, he will be taught and understand what Easter is all about. Easter is especially a time when I think about Jesus and how he suffered so bad to bring us salvation. He had so much strength and courage and endurance. He could have given up but he didn't. I thank him everyday for what he did for me. Don't forget to thank him too.

It was slow moving but he did end up with 13 eggs!!!

Isaac was excited about finding this blue egg under the bush, but he made Mommy go after it!!

It was a good day and we loved being with our church family. Thanks for having us Cara & the girls!!!

I LOVE this little group photo. It is really hard getting all of these kids to look. They did great!!

A sneak peek to Easter...

Here is a little taste of what my little I-Man will look like on Easter. I bought this four piece suit back when he was around six months old. I had to try it on him today to see if it would fit. The pants were a tad long but with his shoes on I guess he will be okay.

We took Isaac to Incredible Daves!

Chris was on vacation this week and I took one day off and we did a few little things. We took him to Incredibles Daves which has a lot of big blow up things that kids can jump on. Isaac was still a little small, but we all had fun. Look at my boys...

Look at this little grin. He looks like he is up to no good.

He looks like his Daddy.

More pics of little I-Man

Yep, you are seeing it right. He is playing with my bra.
Typical man.

He is truly the happiest little boy. He is so good.

This is his mischievous face. He is up to something.

As for our furnace. It never had a problem again. It is running fine so I didn't call anyone. We will just have it serviced before the fall/winter months. I have a bad sinus infection. My ear infection got worse and I was put on something else yesterday. Isaac keeps acting like he is coming down with something. He has had a little cough here and there but so far he is okay. I am trying my hardest not to kiss that little face. It is soooo hard. I love my precious boy!!!

Updates....

Hi Everybody. We are all doing good. I have had a simple ear infection this week but I have been fine. I found a ninth tooth with Isaac this week. He is walking so good now.
We had a date night! Last Saturday night Chris took off from the show and we went out with some other couples from church. We took Isaac to my parents house and he did something so cute. He is getting such a little personality. I love it! We were in the living room and he kept trying to go into the kitchen. Finally, he was headed that way and he was determined. Grami said, "Where do think your goin'", and Isaac quickly replied, "Bye-Bye" as he was walked out of the living room. It was hilarious!!!
We left earlier than we were suppose to so we could shop a little at the Mall. We went to Old Navy and Chris got him 5 pair of pants and I got some shirts and socks for Isaac. I was so happy. Chris hates to go out and look for clothes. He is so picky and he has a hard time finding what he wants but he found these pants that fit him good and he loved them for only $19 a pair. We then met our friends at California Pizza Kitchen and it was good. We proceeded on to the bowling alley. Yep. Chris went bowling for the first time in his life. It was too cute. When we got there, he found out that you had to rent shoes and he was not down with that. Had he known that first, I think he wouldn't have left going bowling up to me. heehee He bowled a 76 his first game ever so he did pretty good. He even got a strike.
Well, today is my day off and I woke up at 6am because it was really cold in my room. I came out into the hallway and brrrr it was cold in our house. I checked the thermostat in the dark and it was on heat so I turned it up and it wouldn't come on. Uh-oh. So I went into the kitchen and Chris had left a note saying exactly what I just wrote and how he thought the furnace was broke. So I went back and turned the light on. I turned the thermostat off and waited a minute. Then I turned it back on. I heard the furnace click in the basement and shortly the heat came on. I went and checked the furnace and it looked okay but the thermostat said 60 and I have it set for 70 so I didn't want to lay back down until I knew the furnace would kick off. So I thought I would come and update the blog. I would have loved to sleep longer. I put another blanket on Isaac. Now I am just waiting here for the furnace to shut off.
We did really good on our income tax return. I just had to have my car worked on. It cost $900. Now we will probably have to get our furnace worked on. It figures.
We have planned out first vacation with Isaac. We are going to Gatlinburg in May with my parents. I am very excited. It should be interesting driving 5 hours with a 16 month old. I hope we all have patience. My parents wanted to take us to Florida, but we didn't think we were ready for that trip in the car.
Well, the furnace has been running a very long time, so I better go investigate. Wish me luck!!
